Clear Releases Beta drivers to the General Public

Clear has released Beta drivers for Lion (and 64 bit Snow Leopard) for at least some of their 4G devices.

I actually use this exact device and have installed and am using these Beta drivers to make this post.

I have been using these drivers for ~2 weeks without any known issues (at least to me). They seem to be pretty solid and if you are a developer running the Lion GM (released July 11th, 2011), and you have Clear, you should feel comfortable downloading and using these drivers.

If you do have any issues, don’t forget to contact Clear. They are trying to get as many people as possible to run these Beta drivers so they can address any remaining issues.

Have Fun! 🙂

hey, I had these drivers on my macbook air, but I just got a new Macbook Pro and Clear is not offering the betas any longer. Does anyone know I can obtain these drivers again? I have the Sierra 250u and now I cannot use it… 🙁

You can save yourself from these issues. Switch to the Mobile WiFi device. Then you can use it with Mac OSX WiFi (no drivers required) and it will work with all your other WiFi devices at the same time (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
