In case you’ve missed it, my Texas Rangers have FINALLY, for the first time in their 50 year history (Washington Senators/Texas Rangers), have won a PostSeason series to advance to, what is now, a round 2 series, the ALCS (American League Championship Series) against the perennial competitors, the New York Yankees.
New York is a very competitive team and almost always is in the PostSeason. Good news for the Rangers is that they play well against New York, especially in their own yard. In their last meeting during the regular season, they swept the Yankees in a (3) game series.
