We must be really close to the new iPhone announcements….here is a key indicator. I just received this notification on my iPhone 5.
Next Tuesday should be real interesting…. 🙂
According to Jim Dalrymple, over at “The Loop”, Apple has sent out press invitations for their expected/rumored September 9th Event.

Although I have absolutely NO DIRECT information regarding what they will announce, in regards to products, here are my crazy predictions anyway. 🙂
Going all out here…Ok, definitely will announce the expected..
– iPhone 6 (or 6’s)
– Wearable Device
– Go live date for iOS8 and OSX Yosemite….plus features they haven’t previewed yet 🙂
Beyond the expected….
– New completely redesigned MacBook Pro’s, with a slight price drop from previous similar models.
– New completely redesigned Mac Mini….
One more thing….
– A brand new category of computing device that NO ONE is even expecting…:-)
We shall see how prophetic I might be (probably not at all), in less than 2 weeks…can’t wait 🙂
Shortly after their 10am (PST) media event, announcing new iPhones, Apple has released the iOS 7 GM (Golden Master) to their developer community.
Additionally, they have released the GM for the new XCode 5. The version of Apple’s developer tools that supports iOS 7 and OSX Mavericks development.
If you are a developer or have a developer account, you can get the GM release by going to the developer site:
Here we are, just hours away from the WWDC Keynote. Nobody really knows what to expect, but Macrumors.com has a compilation of all the rumors surrounding what might be introduced.
John Gruber, on his podcast said that his sources told him that what Apple is announcing, would be, “polarizing”. No explanation of what that means, but it does raise the interest level around this keynote.
My initial gut reaction, with the “polarizing” word being used, would be that Apple might be about to announce new hardware (MacBooks, MacBook Pros, MacBook Airs, iMacs) with the addition of a touchscreen. It’s kind of inevitable. Now that Cook is in charge and Jobs previous statement about why Macs would not have touch can be reversed without any internal Apple political ramifications. There is no more roadblock to the idea. Of course, this is only my opinion. I have no inside information either.
Well, whatever they announce, we will know in about 4 hours. I hope the announcements live up to the hype. We shall see…:-)
